What is the Defend Ukraine Appeal

Defend Ukraine Appeal (formerly known as U-Help) is Australia’s largest community-run fundraising effort for non-lethal military aid for Ukraine.

Managed by the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO), the peak body for 22 national community organisations in Australia, the fund:

provides vital non-lethal military aid, such as body armour, thermal imaging devices, walkie talkies, surveillance equipment and transport vehicles to brave defenders on the front line
delivers aid through an established and secure global supply chain, managed directly by the AFUO
charges 0% administration fees, so that 100% of funds can go directly to supporting Ukrainian defenders
